As far as the taste and aroma of the fruit are concerned, Leskovac quince is by far the best. New Bulgarian varieties have large, apple-like fruits. They are golden-yellow in colour and approximately weight over 450g. Fruits are aromatic and sour with a few stone cells. One variety that should be especially outlined is Triumph, whose fruits can grow up to 900g, and even though there is not a high demand for fresh quince, the price of Triumph quince is high and stable.
